He called me his Queen

His salvation

He was the dark lord

The king of scythe and swords

He bounds heaven

and scars the sky

Poor souls whirled around him

They covers the world

in a color of rust

He showed me his darkness

And I was not afraid

Oh sweetheart,

have you even seen mine yet?

Even Death has a heart

I was a blank paper

and he filled me with delicate writings

of blood and ruins

He saw my bones beneath

and laid his kingdoms underneath my feet

He would pluck every star from the sky,

covers the earth with raging ocean tides—

offered himself to me

He had pulled me close and whispered,

“my dear, my dear, I crave the taste

of nectar on your lips.”

Mother, I will never run from him

His mouth was the color of mine

His warmth was no longer only his

And his name had dissolved in my heart

Hades

Hades

Hades
